YEAH JAKE! Good Work HOMIE!
The contest season in New Zealand and Australia have been plagued with a mixed bag of weather, and the Billabong Bro Down was no different. Battling changing spring conditions and high winds, the contest did manage to declare some winners. Jake Koia came out on top, stomping a "flawless frontside 1080 melon". If you read Geoff Brown's blog on the outcome, you may or may not share his feelings that there was contention in the second and third spots. Klaudia Medlova started throwing backside rodeos into the mix to take the win for the ladies. It's not long now before winter returns to this hemisphere...fingers crossed.
